First Valentines Day {as Mr. & Mrs.}

I can't believe this was our 6th Valentine's Day together--but our very first as Mr. & Mrs. <3

Our first Valentine's Day together, 2005

We decided to celebrate the special day early, this way we could spend all day together!
We started off with a little pit-stop at Java Run and decided to go all out with a cinnamon vanilla frappacino. (Nothing like a milkshake to start the day, right?!) It even had little red hot's blended throughout it which I loved. Drew, not so much, he is definitely not a cinnamon guy.

Next we headed north to Eugene to do a little thrift shopping. I spent most of my time scouring through old books while Drew spent his searching for success authors. (We both had a success!)

We grabbed a quick lunch and then headed to the Sweet Life Patisserie. Bad idea considering we split a milkshake for breakfast, but we couldn't resist. Drew picked out a Red Velvet cupcake and I finally made up my mind and decided to go with a Black Bottom cupcake. (Talk about major indecision, I can never make up my mind--and go figure, I ended up loving Andrew's choice way more than mine. Not a surprise.)

YUM!

Black Bottom

Red Velvet

& lot's leftover for later

After dessert we headed out for dinner at Beppe and Gianni's. Ah-MA-ZING!

We celebrated a day early so the next day I came home on my lunch and walked through the door to see this:

He is so creative. I love it.

Baby sister is no longer a baby

My sweet little sister turned 21 way back in September. She was, however, in Chile at the time studying abroad for 3 months so this past weekend we took her and Jordan out to our favorite places in Corvallis. First we went to Clods, then waited in line for way too long at Sanchos so we decided to ixnay that idea and head over to the Peacock. The Peacock was Andrew and I's favorite bar that we would (on a rare occasion might I add) hang out at during our college days... :)

It was a great night, complete with all four of us singing Karaoke! (Talesha requested Journeys "Small Town Girl" and I am pretty positive Drew was the only one who could hit those high notes.) I am so blessed by my sister and Jordan, I can't wait for the future and all of the exciting things to come for them! College graduation... and a few others!

Can't forget my wonderful husband and our DD for the night! Thanks babe :)

Finally starting a blog :)

I am finally jumping on the blogging bandwagon. My biggest reason for wanting to start this blog is to journal some of the important and fun memories we journey through as husband and wife... and then someday with our children. (I can't wait! :) )

I am so excited for one day when they can read through this and see little tid-bits of their lives over the years as they grow up.

I am so thankful for the many blessings that He has given us, for our marriage and for our bright future together! So much to look forward to.
